Virtual Enrollment Ceremony

On behalf of the University Executive Board of Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, Rector Prof. Dr.-Ing. Alexander Kratzsch cordially invites you to the enrolment ceremony for students of the new 2020/2021 academic year.

This year, the enrolment ceremony will take place virtually. We will livestream the event starting at 6:00 p.m. on our YouTube channel.

Here's what you can expect at HSZG's first virtual orientation ceremony:
  • Enrollment Address by Our Rector, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Alexander Kratzsch
  • Greetings from the Region
  • Symbolic welcome for first-semester students by the Vice President for Education and International Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sophia Keil
  • Presentation of the DAAD Award by the Head of Division for Academic Affairs and International Relations, Dr. Stefan Kühne
  • Symbolic presentation of this year’s Germany Scholarships
  • Presentation of the Friends of the University’s awards for outstanding academic achievements in 2020
  • We’re Here for You! The Student Council of Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences introduces itself.

Electronic Music Meets High Voltage

DJs EVOK (Nostromo Görlitz) and TeNcHu (ODW-Supagang*'s) will be performing at the high voltage facility, and we’ll be streaming the DJ set live right into your living rooms. Cool music and an exciting venue with visuals staged to perfection—this is how your college life can really get the party started, even during the pandemic.
