The Ambient Assisted Living laboratory provides an on-site insight into current assistance technologies for maintaining quality of life in old age.
How will we live in old age? What aids are available to enable us to stay in our own homes for a long time despite possible physical or mental limitations and where is there a need for technical development?
These are all questions that are being researched in the AAL lab.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the laboratory had to be closed temporarily. But now, on June 20 and July 18, interested parties can once again find out about technical assistance systems designed to make everyday life easier for senior citizens and improve their quality of life.
Visitors will have the opportunity to get to know the technical everyday helpers and talk about them. All technologies can be tried out on site to assess whether they actually make things easier in your own household.
No registration is required to visit the lab.
