Property right applications - Part II (online)

Part II of this seminar series focuses on the topic of “Patent Search”:

The following topics will be covered in the seminar:
- international and national patent classification systems
- search strategies
- subject-area searches
- Name, family, patent statistics, and patent citation searches
- Advantages and disadvantages of free and commercial patent databases
- A wide range of search examples, including demonstration searches

Please note that Part II builds on the knowledge taught in Part I.

During the sessions, participants are encouraged to bring their own problems and topics and to ask questions at length. All participants will receive comprehensive informational materials and a certificate of attendance.

Members of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences can participate in the events offered by the Patent Information Center (PIZ). The program is free of charge for students. Faculty and staff pay a nominal fee.
