Part II of this series of events deals with the topic of "Patent Search":
The following contents will be taught in the seminar:
- international and national patent classification systems
- search strategies
- subject area searches
- name, family, patent statistics and patent citation searches
- advantages and disadvantages of free and commercial patent databases
- diverse search examples including demonstration searches
Please note that Part II builds on the knowledge imparted in Part I.
You can bring in your own problems and topics and ask extensive questions during the parts of the course. All participants will receive comprehensive information material and a certificate of attendance.
Members of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences can take part in the events of the Patent Information Center (PIZ). The offer is free of charge for students. Employees pay a contribution towards expenses.
