Part I of this series of events deals with the topic of "Technical property rights - patents and utility models":
The following contents will be taught in the seminar:

- Timeline of the patent procedure
- IP rights abroad
- European and PCT patents
- Structure of a patent specification
- Employee inventions
- Subsidies
- Services of the PIZ
In the event sections, participants can present their own problems and topics and ask extensive questions. All participants will receive comprehensive information material and a certificate of attendance.
Members of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences can take part in the events of the Patent Information Center (PIZ). The offer is free of charge for students. Employees pay a contribution towards expenses.
