State parliament mid-term project conference

This event will showcase selected projects at our university that are funded by the Free State of Saxony from 2018 to 2022, pursuant to a decision by the Saxon State Parliament. This regularly held conference promotes internal academic exchange and raises awareness of our research in the region.

Presentation Topics:

• Climate neutrality of industrial companies in Eastern Saxony
• Determination of the thermophysical material properties of phase-change materials (PCM) for latent heat storage
• Characterization and prevention of defects in hybrid perovskite materials
• Material utilization of chaff and straw
• How can artificial intelligence be made good at being accessible and applicable for SMEs?
• What role do edge and cloud computing play in the implementation of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)?
• Factors determining the successful integration of digital assistance systems/tools into support networks for older adults

Due to the pandemic, this event will be held digitally. The presentations will be streamed on BBB (BigBlueButton), with the option for discussion. The poster session will take place on Gather.town; there, each poster can be discussed with its creator in a separate “room.”
