Artificial intelligence analyzes fall patterns, writes care documentation, suggests individualized care plans, and assists in the early detection of disease progression. The possibilities sound impressive—and are growing rapidly. But how much of this is already a reality? What really works, and what remains theoretical for now? And who is actually asking the people who work in caregiving every day?
The afternoon is divided into two parts: information and discussion.
Part 1: What can AI really do today?
From automated care documentation to AI-supported care planning and intelligent early warning systems: The first part provides a clear overview of the current state of the art. Which AI applications are already in use? Where does technology provide tangible relief, and where have expectations not yet been met?
Part 2: What would really help?
In the second part, the floor is yours. Because the crucial questions cannot be answered from behind a desk: What would actually make everyday care easier? Where are the limits—technically, ethically, legally? Who bears responsibility if the machine makes a mistake? And how do we ensure that the human element in care doesn’t fall by the wayside? These questions need your perspective.
For anyone who works in care or is interested in the topic, whether you’re a nurse, a care manager, a trainee, a family member, or simply curious. No prior knowledge is required.
