Together for more climate protection!

Climate change and its negative effects pose major problems for current and future generations. Sustainability and effective environmental protection are therefore a key task in counteracting current developments and mitigating future climate problems. As a research and teaching institute, we want to lead the way as a positive role model and pioneer and face the difficulties of tomorrow today. For this reason, a comprehensive climate protection concept is currently being drawn up for our two university locations.

This concept will serve as a strategic decision-making basis for all future activities at the university and anchor climate protection as a cross-sectional task in the long term. Through short, medium and long-term measures and optimizations, we want to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and make our contribution as a climate-neutral university in the future.

In order to implement these goals effectively, we want to involve you in our plan and our future actions today. Only together can we actively promote sustainable university operations. We would therefore like to invite you to our first internal university information event. We will explain all the relevant aspects of our project and inform you about future measures and activities.
