Faces of Hope

Young people from all over the world come to us here in Zittau to begin an exciting new chapter in their lives. Studying in Germany is an attractive prospect, and they all arrive here full of hope. You can see it in their faces, in their eyes.

Some of the students at the 'Studienkolleg' (preparatory college) are only 17 years old when they arrive in Germany, but they all share the same goal: to begin their studies in Germany. Above all, they bravely grapple with the German language. However, all the challenges the students face can be overcome with hard work. In the end, the hard work pays off.

We all have hopes and dreams. They can come true, too.

The multicultural mix at the 'Studienkolleg' (preparatory college) is something to be celebrated.
