The East-West College is a public lecture series organized in cooperation between the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and the Institute for Cultural Infrastructure in Saxony. High-profile speakers from a wide variety of fields in European cultural practice present a multifaceted mosaic of recent and current trends in culture, the arts, cultural policy, and the cultural economy.
One of the most important questions for a student is that of self-realization. It is precisely this question—the self-realization of young adults—that a series of female speakers at the Ost-West-Kolleg, who come literally from all over the world, explore. What is the situation regarding this topic in Uganda, Ethiopia, Japan, and other countries?
All members of Zittau-Görlitz University of Applied Sciences are just as warmly invited as guests.
