Citizens meet science - Umgebindehäuser and digitization

Everyone here knows them—the Umgebinde houses. They are a defining feature of the landscape in the south and west of Upper Lusatia. They are small marvels of engineering. Did you know that the university has an Umgebindehaus Information Center? Here, a wealth of knowledge about the construction of these buildings, their different variations, and
architectural styles is presented digitally. This evening, you’ll have the opportunity to talk with researchers and ask your questions about Umgebindehäuser.

The events are organized through the Saxony5 project. Participation is free of charge. Registration is required due to limited space!
