Exhibition BLICKPUNKTE

From October 2025 through February 2026, the Zittau University Library will host an exhibition featuring works by the artist Peter Schiffner.

On display in the library’s galleries, the paintings and prints—created using a variety of techniques—offer insight into the artistic work of this Zittau-based artist.

Some motifs are inspired by the characteristic landscapes of Upper Lusatia, the mountains of the Zittau Range, and the neighboring Bohemian Highlands. Visitors can also discover several depictions of the city of Zittau.

Other works reflect travel destinations or themes from the city and nature.

Peter Schiffner has a long-standing association with the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, including his former work in the Civil Engineering department.

All interested parties are cordially invited to visit the exhibition free of charge during the opening hours of the Zittau University Library, located at Hochwaldstraße 12.
