How do we want to live in old age?
How can I live independently in my home for as long as possible?
What technical options can help me do this?
How can I support relatives even when I'm not there?
The TALK project's series of events is entering the next round! The second event will take place on December 14, 2022 in the Quartierscafé of the Spreequelle residential park . Once again, the GAT Institute wants to talk to interested citizens about questions relating to independent living in old age and the support options offered by assistive technologies. The discussion will once again focus on the living situation and social participation of older people in the district of Görlitz.
The event will include a presentation by GAT Institute Director Professor Dr. Andreas Hoff on the topic of "Age-appropriate technologies for a self-determined life" and the opportunity to exchange ideas with the researchers. There will also be another chance to try out assistance technology from the Görlitz AAL Lab on site.
The event starts at 2:30 pm, the Quartierscafé is open from 2 pm.
Participation is free of charge and registration is not required.
The venue is barrier-free; unfortunately there is no inductive hearing system available.
Note on parking facilitiesThere is only a limited number of parking spaces available in front of the residential park. Further parking is available at the city library (Hofeweg 41) and next to the Andert secondary school (Sachsenstraße 41). The venue is a 10-minute walk from both locations.
