The Lusatia - Life & Technology Alliance (L&T) is a cooperative project between Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, the district of Görlitz, ULT AG and the Fraunhofer Institute for Machine Tools and Forming Technology IWU.
L&T aims to use technical, economic and social innovations to sustainably strengthen the economic power and thus the development capacity of the (Upper) Lusatia region in the face of regional structural change.
Creative ideas and research and development resources are to be transferred into innovation projects in the fields of additive manufacturing and networked storage technologies as well as non-formal education and attractive working and living environments.
The motto of the alliance meeting reflects an elementary strategic goal of L&T and is entirely focused on the interlinking of social and technological innovations in Lusatia.
The L& T structural wall talk will kick off the event. A new format in which L&T aims to enrich and expand the social exchange in the structural change process with new impulses through both technological and social approaches.
We will bring together representatives from politics, business, research and society to discuss the importance and relevance of social innovations and their direct and lasting impact on structural change in Lusatia and discuss challenges.
Afterwards, L&T invites you to take part in two workshops on the interlinking of technical-technological and social innovations in order to explore the topic in greater depth using practice-oriented processes.
In addition to the supporting program of the alliance meeting, the exhibition "Besser Anders Arbeiten" by L& T alliance partner Working Evolutions will present modern approaches to the world of work in (Upper) Lusatia. The exhibition focuses on the concept of "New Work" - a topic that is closely linked to the L&T innovation field "Attractive educational, working and living environments" and which demonstrates the close connection to innovation-driven Upper Lusatian players and the recruitment of future skilled workers in Upper Lusatia.
