2nd LaNDER³ partnership meeting
New trends and current developments in natural fiber-reinforced plastics (NFRP) in the new interdisciplinary research technology center at the HSZG

| End | 03. December 2019 - 12:00 |
The 2nd LaNDER³ Partnership Meeting will focus on new trends and current developments in the field of natural fiber-reinforced plastics (NFK). The event will take place at the new interdisciplinary research facility at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences—the LaNDER³ Hall in Zittau.
Researchers from HSZG will present the current status of their projects as well as solutions for the resource-efficient and competitive processing and recycling of NFK. Poster presentations will provide new insights. Two speakers will address current issues in the field of bioplastics and natural fiber composites.
Together with our partner companies, we aim to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and explore new application areas for sustainable materials suitable for lightweight construction.
In addition to the technical presentations, all partners will have the opportunity to learn about the production lifecycle—from fiber and associated energy generation, through the conditioning of natural fibers and the manufacture of natural fiber composite (NFK) components, all the way to recycling and reuse—as well as to drive new SME projects.
Afterward, we invite all partners to join representatives from various research and industrial sectors at the AMiCE information session to explore and discuss topics related to additive manufacturing and the circular economy in greater depth.
