15th Annual Engineering Education Conference

This year, we invite everyone interested in technical education to the 15th Annual Online Conference on Engineering Education, taking place from Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. through Saturday, June 19, 2021.

The organizing committee of the Society for Engineering Education and our university would like to join you in reflecting on and discussing the triad of people, technology, and production and service structures as a framework for future-oriented, sustainable educational processes.

The discussion will center on how sustainable concepts in technical education can emerge from a blend of tradition and innovation, enabling educators and learners to responsibly shape the future for themselves and others.

You are cordially invited to submit a paper on this topic.

Building on the focal points and discussions of previous annual conferences, we also welcome contributions on the following topics: fundamental questions in engineering education, what constitutes good teaching?, ethical issues in technical education, vocational education, women in technical careers, best-practice examples of innovative concepts in teaching and learning, the goals of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and UNESCO’s 2030 Education Agenda and their contribution to technical education, as well as miscellaneous topics.

We invite you to participate by submitting current research or teaching papers, reports, and practical examples. The contributions will be published in the 2021 conference proceedings following the online annual conference.
