All registration decisions can also be found on the AQ Austria website.

The decision on the registration of studies does not imply a determination of equivalence with Austrian studies and corresponding Austrian academic degrees. The studies and academic degrees are considered to be those of the country of origin or domicile (Germany).

Equivalence in the higher education sector between Germany and Austria was already established in 2003 by a bilateral agreement.

According to § 4 para. 4 of the § 27-MeldeVO 2024, educational institutions are obliged to indicate in writing in their public image in Austria for the duration of the validity of the notification that in the event of revocation of the decision on the notification by the Board of AQ Austria, the degree program(s) may no longer be carried out in Austria.

The accreditation procedure and the additional notification procedure (the degree programs are also checked again here) as well as the strict requirements give you the highest possible security and the guarantee of a high-quality degree program.
