Two new sources of information

Full-text publications of the United Nations and the Nano database, including additional content, will be available until September 2016.

The new UN iLibrary offers access to titles on UN topics in English and other UN languages (French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Arabic) until September 30, 2016. Around 2,000 publications are currently available. Every year, the database grows by up to 500 new books, journals, working papers and statistics published by United Nations Publications.

Test access to the Nano database and additional content from de Gruyter Verlag on the subject of nanotechnology is available for the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences until September 15, 2016.

Nano offers access to research results in the nanosciences, particularly in engineering and materials science, chemistry and medicine. In addition to structures or properties of materials, social effects of nanotechnology can also be found. The additional content includes electronic journals and books.

Access is via the homepage of the University Library → Electronic Media → Testing → Nano or UN iLibrary.
