As part of the joint project "Establishment and development of a practical research center in the district of Görlitz to improve the quality of life of older people" (PFS-Görlitz) of the T!Raum Initiative Alterperimentale funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), a part-time (26 hours) research assistant (m/f/d) is being sought for the Görlitz practical research center from 01.04.2025.
The above-mentioned BMBF joint project Alterperimentale aims to gain a better understanding of the current situation of older people in the districts of Oder-Spree, Spree-Neiße and Görlitz and to support and improve their living situations. The project in the district of Görlitz is a cooperation between the HSZG and the Catholic University of Applied Sciences Berlin (KHSB). The project focuses on research into supporting older people, family caregivers and care institutions through technological innovations. The aim of the sub-project is to set up a practical research center in Görlitz, where technological support options can be devised, tested and evaluated using co-creative processes. Together with regional stakeholders and older people, a network is to be established to strengthen age-related digital topics in the region and stimulate knowledge transfer. As a research assistant, you will play a key role in implementing this research and practice transfer project.
