At the Görlitz Clinic, this function is assumed by senior physicians on a rotating basis - a deliberately chosen model for equality, practical relevance and fresh impetus. Prof. Dr. Stefan Zeller took on this responsible role on April 1.

Prof. Dr. Zeller is Director of the Görlitz Geriatrics Centre and Chief Physician of the Clinic for Internal Medicine and Geriatrics II. He has maintained a close and committed collaboration with the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences since 2017. He is also a long-standing associate member of the GAT Institute and has been significantly involved in various projects, including the VATI series projects.

With his many years of experience and his interdisciplinary commitment, Prof. Dr. Zeller enriches the further development of practice-oriented research and teaching in a special way.
