On October 20, 2011, the Director of the University Library, Ms. N. Hašcáková, Dr. H. Neumannová (Academic Coordination Centre in the Neisse Euroregion) and 4 employees of the Liberec University Library visited the University Library in Zittau. They discussed further cooperation between the two academic libraries, continued the exchange of information and in particular the question of how the users of both institutions can benefit from the proximity of the two libraries. Further reciprocal visits by staff were also agreed.

The next working meeting will take place on 22.02.2012. A joint project is also in preparation.
