The Silesian Christmas Market is a beautiful, large event that you should not miss in Görlitz. It is one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Saxony and takes place in the historic ambience of Görlitz's Old Town, which stretches from Untermarkt to Obermarkt.

The market opens for you on December 3 and ends on December 19. During these 17 days, you can feel the cold winter air mingling with the scent of freshly baked cookies, roasted almonds and incense. Langos, hot mulled wine and children's punch provide the necessary warmth.

Fancy a game? Then the Obermarkt is the right stop for you, because that's where you'll find the annual curling and ice skating rink. Not in the mood for games?
