At this year's Dies Academicus of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, Professor Dr. Erik Hahn gave a lecture on the topic of "Patients' Rights". The event, which was very well attended, was organized by the university's Seniorenkolleg (Dipl.-L. Frank Schneider). The lecture dealt with various issues in the field of health law, such as the rights of patients in treatment contracts, the differences between private and statutory health insurance and the entitlement to medical treatment as well as the provision of medicines, remedies and aids.
