Fourth Objective 3 project workshop at the Scientific Library in Liberec

The fourth Objective 3 project workshop took place on October 6, 2014 at the Academic Library in Liberec (Krajská vědecká knihovna v Liberci). The University Library of Chemnitz University of Technology, the University Library of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (Univerzitní knihovna Západočeské univerzity v Plzni), the Academic Library in Liberec (Krajská vědecká knihovna v Liberci) and the University Library of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences met as part of the Objective 3 project "Saxon-Czech Library Network - Information without Borders".

The 4th Objective 3 project workshop took place on October 6, 2014 at the Academic Library in Liberec (Krajská vědecká knihovna v Liberci). The University Library of Chemnitz University of Technology, the University Library of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (Univerzitní knihovna Západočeské univerzity v Plzni), the Academic Library in Liberec (Krajská vědecká knihovna v Liberci) and the University Library of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences met as part of the Objective 3 project "Saxon-Czech Library Network - Information without Borders".



Ms. Blanka Konvalinková, Director of the Scientific Library in Liberec, opened the workshop. The Scientific Library in Liberec presented itself as a new project partner for further cooperation within the framework of international cross-border projects, especially with German and Polish project partners. After a tour of the library and a visit to the synagogue, the workshop participants were welcomed by the deputy mayor of Liberec in the town hall.



Discussions on current topics relating to the project initiated an exchange on the status of the content-related project topics of the "Saxon-Czech Library Network". The further course of the project with the Library Day in Pilsen and the final event of the Objective 3 project in Pilsen was coordinated among the project partners. The workshop was concluded with a brief outlook for further future projects in the new EU funding period from 2014 - 2020.
