The position includes the representation of the above-mentioned professorship, in particular with the following focal points:

• Cultural history (Germany, Europe, the world),
• Interculturality in theory and practice,
• Culture and society (cultural identity and cultural aspects of society).

in lectures, seminars, exercises, internships and projects as well as in continuing education. The professorship plays a fundamental role in the faculty. Where appropriate, classes / courses related to the area of appointment are to be offered. The teaching units must be secured university-wide.

In addition to teaching duties, the candidate must independently carry out research and development tasks in the area of appointment, actively contribute to the International Affairs of the university and the further development of the subject area and take on tasks in academic self-administration.

The ability and willingness to participate in integrative, practice-oriented and internship-related courses is required, as is the willingness and ability to offer classes / courses in English.

The following knowledge and skills are required

• A successfully completed university degree in a scientific field related to the above-mentioned subject area,
• a particular aptitude for scientific work,
• experience in applied research and knowledge transfer,
• ideally teaching experience in higher education or further education,
• When filling the position, particular emphasis is placed on practical experience.
