Short version:

  • Personal responsibility for contact tracking and private
  • Do not come to the university if symptoms occur
  • Compliance with the hygiene concept of the university
  • Inform yourself about the procedure for a positive test

Dear students,

After

the first positive Corona case in the university in Zittau yesterday

and the corresponding register were sent home, there was an online

conference this morning between Deans, Rectorate and StuRa.

As a result we want to point out the current situation and appeal to your personal responsibility!

Behavior at the university
In

case of symptoms or indisposition it is forbidden to enter the

university. The contact lists of the university will be filled out by

the lecturer and not passed on. Despite the current outside

temperatures, we ask you, if not guaranteed by the lecturer:innen, to

take responsibility for a good ventilation of the lecture and seminar

rooms and to wear a mask for everyday life in case of non-compliance

with the room capacities.

In the case of a positive test, please

send an email to cv-info@hszg.de and the faculty management immediately

and, if necessary, name permanent contact persons (e.g. fellow students,

roommates, partners) directly with the registration number, since the

public health department works very slowly and infection chains cannot

be prevented directly.

For a regulation for the refectories,

contact is now being made with the Studentenwerk Dresden and solutions

are being sought. If the cafeteria is full, please make sure that you

take your meal with you, keep your distance and only take your masks off

when you are in your seat.

Behavior in private
Since

the infections do not occur exclusively in the university, we would ask

you to be cooperative in tracking contacts. Please refrain from

excessive contact in private and semi-private settings. This means that

you do not organize parties and if possible stay at the university

location on weekends. We also ask you to actively use the Corona Warn

App (https://www.coronawarn.app/en/) and to keep a contact diary in

private.

The Corona Pandemic is not yet over. In

our neighboring country Czech Republic there is a partial lockdown as

of today. This must be observed and avoided at all costs.
