Dear Users,

The eduroam network is a global project that provides university members with free Internet access.
Whenever you connect to an eduroam Wi-Fi network, your connection data is encrypted and transmitted to the HSZG, where it is verified.

Due to necessary security updates (certificate change), you’ll need to update the settings on your devices!
Your device uses the certificate to verify that it’s a legitimate eduroam Wi-Fi network and prevents your data from being transmitted to third parties.

We must therefore ask all users to reconfigure the eduroam Wi-Fi on their devices. Starting July 2, 2019, internet access will no longer be possible with the old configuration (the setup pages will remain accessible). Starting July 10, 2019, due to the root certificate no longer being valid, connecting will only be possible with the new configuration!

For a simple and secure transition, please use the updated eduroam CAT configuration wizard. You can find this wizard, along with setup instructions, on the HRZ website:
