And by the way, we will now finally find out why there is a huge koala (plush) bear in the Görlitz library. There was an additional question in the quiz where the quiz participants had to come up with a plausible story about the koala. Here are the - in our opinion - two best ones:

1. as an Australian exchange professor of applied climbing physics, he is preparing for his next lecture.

2. if you are desperate and can't get on with your studies, you can cuddle the koala and have a good cry with him.

The truth is by the way, that the koala is the mascot of an Australian software company that developed the library software used by the University Library. The library received the plush koala as a gift when the new software was launched and he has been sitting there reading and reading and reading ever since...
