The US library service provider ProQuest is offering German-language electronic books for testing via its subsidiary ebrary until June 30, 2013. The "ebrary German Collection" comprises more than 4,500 titles.

The offer is aimed at all disciplines and primarily contains e-books in the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences as well as some engineering books. The areas of language and literature, philosophy and psychology, law, social sciences, history, natural sciences and education are particularly addressed. The books come from publishers such as de Gruyter and Max Niemeyer.
