Access to journals and open access publishing for university members
The Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences has joined the open access transformation agreements between the DEAL consortium and the publishers Springer Nature and Wiley.
The reading access enables access to almost all journal content on the platforms of both publishers.
In addition, members of the HSZG can publish Open Access in the hybrid journals. This includes over 2,000 titles from Springer Nature and over 1,300 titles from Wiley. The costs are covered by the Publish & Read component of the contract. For publications in the respective Fully Gold Open Access journals, a 20% discount from the list price is granted on the publication fees (APCs). The contract period is 5 years (until 31.12.2028).
