The aim of the cooperation project in the field of renewable energies was to increase the efficiency of decentralized systems. Specifically, it was about the optimal design and intelligent control of energy systems. To this end, the functionality and thus the applicability of the USE MY ENERGY - Designer software in particular was expanded. The software allows energy generators to be designed in a results-oriented manner and new systems, such as a CHP unit, heat pump or photovoltaic system, to be optimally integrated into an existing energy concept.

The software is used for system simulation and design. The innovative extension makes it possible to determine thermal load profiles for typical buildings. In addition, a database-supported product catalog for heat pumps has been created, which enables the user to simulate heat pumps without specific manufacturer information for planning purposes and variant comparisons.
