Students from the Tourism Management course presented themselves and the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences in Hall 11.1 at the world's largest tourism trade fair, ITB Berlin.
Prospective students from Germany and abroad were able to obtain information and advice about the Bachelor's degree course in Tourism Management, the Master's degree course in International Tourism Management and the comprehensive range of courses offered by the university.
At the stand, they learned from students in class WTb16 that the Tourism Management course teaches in-depth knowledge of business administration and tourism. The various specialization modules in the fields of tourism management offer future graduates a wide range of career opportunities.
Representatives from the tourism industry and tourism policy, cooperation partners and other interested companies also visited the joint stand of the Breitenbrunn University of Cooperative Education and our university.
Under the direction of Ms Langschwager, the trade fair appearance was organized by the tourism students as a practical form of teaching.
During the five-day presence at the trade fair, 15 students from the Tourism department gained their first experience in stand management.
At the same time, all students used the ITB to find out about current topics in the tourism industry, internships and entry-level jobs and attended specialist lectures in the accompanying congress program.
