If you prefer to be active, you can cycle all the way around the lake in around 45 minutes. But you also have a beautiful view of the "Berzi" with the nearby Landeskrone in the background on inline skates and on foot.

Görlitz also has plenty to offer water sports enthusiasts. Surfers, sailors and stand-up paddlers can live out their passion here and feel the wind in their sails. If you don't have your own equipment, you can hire stand-up paddle boards or an inflatable boat on site.

It only takes 20 minutes by bike from the city to the lake, but you can also get there quickly by bus or train. So nothing stands in the way of your perfect summer day.
