"Like every year, we have an entire induction week. During this week, each degree program welcomes its new students personally in separate face-to-face events. In addition to the course directors, the individual degree programs are represented by the teaching professors and teaching staff. They welcome the first-semester students and provide important information and orientation."

"From the experience of the current semester, we know that online teaching can of course also be exhausting and challenging. There are e-learning components, and these require self-discipline and self-management. In addition, some tasks have to be completed in teams, which worked very well for the most part in the current summer semester, even virtually. In order to ensure that everything runs smoothly and is easy for students to handle, online and face-to-face teaching will alternate on a daily basis during the winter semester. To this end, we are developing timetables in which virtual live events and face-to-face events are clearly distinguishable."

"Our primary goal and the premise of our actions is always to provide very good quality. Of course, there were difficulties in some areas when switching from face-to-face to online teaching. However, the advantage for the winter semester is that we have extensively tested online teaching in the current summer semester. In addition, the Student Council has conducted two surveys during the current semester. Weak points were identified and the design of the teaching was adapted accordingly. This enabled us to achieve significant improvements. We have also found that we have been able to improve the quality of our results and didactics through feedback loops and integrated learning teaching methods. For the upcoming winter semester, we expect the quality of the online classes / courses to be at least as high as that of face-to-face teaching."
