Partnership with university in Kavala/Greece

Partnership with the Technological Educational Institute of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace in Kavala and lectures by Prof. Dr. Hahn at the Department of Business Administration

In April 2017, Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences signed a partnership agreement with the Technological Educational Institute of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Kavala (TEI EMT), which enables the exchange of students and lecturers as part of the "Erasmus+" program. The partnership was initiated by Professor Dr. Erik Hahn (HSZG - Faculty of Business Administration and Engineering) and Professor Dr. Dimitrios I. Maditinos (TEI EMT - Department of Business Administration). Over 13,000 students are enrolled at the university in Kavala, of which up to 4,000 are studying at the School of Business and Economics. The TEI EMT awards Bachelor's and Master's degrees at university level. The Department of Business Administration also offers a special Erasmus course for Erasmus students with classes / courses taught in English.

In the week from 14 to 18 May 2017, Professor Dr. Hahn visited the partner university in Kavala and gave lectures on international and European commercial law with a focus on UN sales law. The event was attended by Erasmus students and a larger group of local students from the department (around 70 people).
