The new version replaces the old election regulations and their flexibilization from Corona times. The new election regulations now have the same structure as the new election regulations of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences and regulate the online election, which has been established since 2020, in a clear form for the first time.

At the meeting, the StuRa also spoke out against the continuation of list voting in order to ensure equal opportunities for all candidates. At its meeting on 28.04.2025, the HSZG Senate voted in favor of retaining list voting in the election regulations. The student senators followed this decision in order to support the adoption of the election regulations.
