NEW: WIAM Metallinfo materials database

WIAM-METALLINFO - produced by IMA Dresden - is a comprehensive and flexible materials database for steel, cast steel and cast iron, non-ferrous metals and sintered metals.

WIAM-METALLINFO - produced by IMA Dresden - is a comprehensive and flexible materials database for the following areas

  • steel
  • Cast steel and cast iron
  • Non-ferrous metals (wrought and cast)
  • Sintered metals

 

It offers data and information on

  • Material conversions between DIN, ISO, EN and other international standards
  • Material descriptions and application notes
  • chemical compositions
  • material properties
  • material applications

 

The following specialized modules are activated for this database:

  • WIAM FLIESS flow curve database with material characteristics and functions for metallic materials
  • WIAM ZYK Fatigue strength database with material characteristics and functions for metallic materials
  • WIAM ZTU Time-temperature transformation diagrams for iron-based materials

 

Access is via the homepage of the University Library →ElectronicMedia→Material Databases / WIAM Metallinfo.

Access is via the subnets of the faculties M, N, EI as well as the IPM and the HSB via IP-Check. Java must be installed and Javascript activated in the browser. Please note: Only a single user license is available in the university network.
