By the end of 2018, users of the University Library will have access to around 5,000 English-language e-books from Taylor & Francis in full text. The offer initially includes access to e-books published between 2015 and 2017 for social sciences, humanities, economics, natural sciences and engineering and thus provides excellent support for the teaching and research areas of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.
We hope that this special offer will be well received. By the end of 2018, some of the most frequently used e-books will have been purchased and will therefore be permanently available for us to use. The activated e-books can be searched via our catalog. If necessary, use the advanced search for "Taylor & Francis", "CRC Press" or "Routledge" in the "Publisher" search field. Then restrict the search to "E-Book" and sort by "Year of publication, descending". This will give you the references of the current electronic books with their links to the PDF as a book chapter or the entire book.
This comprehensive e-book offer was made possible as part of the "Learning Space - Library Information Platform" project by the very first Saxon-Czech consortium for the cross-border use of e-books under the leadership of the Chemnitz University Library and the Zittau/Görlitz University Library as well as the University Library of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, the District Scientific Library in Liberec and the University Library of the Technical University in Liberec.

Jedinečná konsorciální smlouva umožnuje přeshraniční přístup k plným textům
Do konce roku 2018 bude uživatelům Vysokoškolské knihovny k dispozici zhruba 5.000 anglickojazyčných plných textů e-knih od Taylor & Francis. Nabídka zahrnuje přístup k e-knihám, které vyšly mezi lety 2015 - 2017 např. v oborech: sociální a humanitní vědy, ekonomie, přírodní vědy a inženýrství, a tím podporuje studijní a výzkumné oblasti Vysoké školy Zittau/Görlitz.
Doufáme, že bude tato speciální nabídka vřele přijata. Do konce roku 2018 bude část nejvíce čtených e-knih zakoupena a tím umožněn trvalý přístup. Zpřístupněné e-knihy lze vyhledávat s pomocí katalogu. Využijte popř. Pokročilé vyhledávání a zadejte "Taylor & Francis", "CRC Press" popř. "Routledge" do vyhledávací skupiny "Vydatelství". Použijte přitom filtr vyhledávání a omezte výsledky rešerše pouze na e-knihy, poté zadejte Seřadit podle: "data, sestupně". Tím získáte záznamy aktuálních e-knih s jejich odkazy na dokumenty ve formátu pdf - jednotlivé kapitoly knih nebo celé knihy.
Tato rozsáhlá nabídka e-knih je umožněna v rámci projektu "Prostor učení - Knihovnická informační platforma" díky prvnímu sasko-českému konsorciu kpřeshraničnímu využívání e-knih pod vedením Univerzitní knihovny Chemnitz a Vysokoškolské knihovny Zittau/Görlitz a dále také Univerzitní knihovny Západočeské univerzity vPlzni, Krajské vědecké knihovny v Liberci a Univerzitní knihovny Technické univerzity v Liberci.
