The 2015 summer semester was also opened with sporting events organized by university sports. The semester kicked off with volleyball and soccer competitions. 12 volleyball teams and 9 soccer teams registered for the event. The tournament was officially opened by the Chancellor of the university, Ms. Hollstein. The winners were announced at 00.30:
