Special funding from the Saxony Consortium supports the open access provision of monographs published by MIT Press. Access to all more than 2,500 e-books is guaranteed until 31.12.2024. The released e-books (OA books) will remain fully accessible beyond this date.

The most important subject areas covered in the overall collection include art and architecture, biomedicine, economics, computer science, neuroscience, education, environment, humanities, new media and social sciences.

The e-books are not included in the catalog. They can be accessed either directly or via the website Electronic Media -> All Databases -> MIT Press.
