On April 4, 2025, the "Night of the Libraries" will take place across Germany. Under the motto "Knowledge.Share.Discover", small and large libraries, special libraries, public and academic libraries will open their doors on the first Friday evening in April and invite people to discover libraries in a new and different way.

The University Library will also be open until midnight on this day, offering everyone the chance to experience events and activities in the Zittau and Görlitz libraries!

Among other things, we have planned to enrich the evening with short readings and are therefore looking for literary talents among the students or members and friends of our HSZG! Perhaps you write poems, short stories, short narratives or even great novels - and would like to present parts of them to the public?

We look forward to hopefully receiving numerous entries from amateur poets and writers!
