Passion meets precision
Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science' presents new image film.
At the heart of the story is Julia and her passion for electrical engineering, which she was born with. Her path leads the young woman to study in Zittau at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, where her mother once studied.
Does life really write stories like this? Yes—Julia is a student in the department of electrical engineering, is about to begin her final theory semester, and, since she chose the dual KIA (sandwich-style) degree course, has even already earned her first vocational degree as an electronics technician. In the video, she gives an authentic account of the experiences she’s gained during her studies.
Julia sees a lot of potential in studying electrical engineering and automation technology, because the products of this engineering discipline shape our everyday lives: connected worlds, automation, clean and efficient energy supply—in other words, smartphones, robots, and electric cars. So why not become an electrical engineer?
