The position primarily involves the following duties

• Installation, configuration, and operation of hardware in the faculty's PC pools
• Planning, preparing, and implementing hardware upgrades and procurement
• Provision and maintenance of software within the PC labs for teaching purposes
• Supporting the setup, operation, and further development of the faculty’s laboratories (Human-Computer Interaction and IoT/Robotics)
• Planning, conducting, and evaluating lab exercises
• System-related support for classes / courses
• Support for the faculty in general engineering tasks
• Ensuring and monitoring compliance with occupational safety regulations in the computer labs, including providing safety instructions to users
• Support for the faculty’s public relations activities and student recruitment efforts.

The following knowledge and skills are required

• A completed university degree in computer science
• Professional experience in
  • client administration, including software deployment and patch management
  • Network administration
• Good proficiency in high-level programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and Java
• Knowledge of lab-related technologies such as Unity, 3D development, and IoT development
• Practical English skills.

In addition, the following are desirable

• Knowledge of hardware procurement and maintenance
• university-level teaching skills
• Knowledge of occupational safety.
