IPM Workshop
On November 1 and 2, 2016, everything at IPM will revolve around the topic of "Transformers - Operation and Diagnosis".
As part of a project on the topic of "Diagnosis of Power Transformers," Lausitz Energie Kraftwerke AG (LEAG, formerly Vattenfall Europe Generation AG) and the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences (HSZG) are working closely together. The project focuses on the development of a diagnostic tool for assessing the condition of transformers.
To explore the topic of safe operation and monitoring of transformers in greater depth and to exchange experiences in this field, the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, organized by the Institute for Process Engineering, Process Automation, and Measurement Technology (IPM), is hosting a workshop on November 1 and 2, 2016, titled “Transformers—Operation and Diagnosis.”
The agenda for both days of the event can be found here.
The event is primarily aimed at employees of energy companies and the university.
On November 1, participants will have the opportunity to attend presentations and view exhibits from General Electric, Starke & Sohn, ABB, and Gatron/EMB.
November 2 will be devoted to discussing specific topics in the field of transformer technology.
Students and interested parties are cordially invited to the workshop; participation is free of charge.
