The Faculty of Business Administration and Engineering Management once again took part in the INSIDERTREFF on May 20, 2017. At the largest training fair in Upper Lusatia, prospective students were able to take part in the STEM trail stations and learn more about the main areas of study and research.

In addition to the student advisory service, the Faculty of Business Administration and Engineering Management presented itself with two STEM stations. Interesting questions from the Business Quest on the three degree courses Business Administration, Industrial Engineering and Management and Housing and Real Estate Management enabled visitors to refresh their knowledge and gain insights into the subject matter of the degree courses.

At the renewable energy construction kit station, our guests experimented with the wind turbine. They learned about the differences between horizontal wind turbines, which are suitable for large-scale installations, and small vertical wind turbines, which are better suited to residential buildings.

Visitors also had the opportunity to visualize their own house using the CAD program ArchiCAD. The 3D printer attracted not only the students, but also other visitors to the fair and provided an opportunity to start a conversation about studying. Our female students shared lots of information about studying, student life and career prospects with prospective students and invited them to get to know our campus.
