Two barrier-free lifting tables were purchased especially for people with disabilities. Wheelchair users can now use the armrests to move under the table surfaces and adjust their working position as best as possible. All other library users also benefit from the new tables.

Operation is very simple: press the button slightly upwards and hold it until it is in the correct position. The procedure is just the opposite if the working position needs to be lowered. Press the button slightly downwards until the desired position is reached.

The tables were financed by inclusion funds from the Free State of Saxony.
