In teaching and research, both copyright-protected content is used and own copyright-protected content is produced. However, the question often arises: Which third-party works may be used and in what form? And how are your own research data and results protected by copyright?
Together with the BMBF, the German Library Association dbv has now published a handout on the subject of "Copyright in science". Among other things, it explains the conditions under which copyright-protected works can be used for teaching and research in higher education.
