The University Library maintains good relations with libraries in the region. Görlitz students in particular can now benefit from these good contacts. The Görlitz City Library offers its reading room to students as an additional study space, especially on Saturdays. The reading room has 64 reading places with power sockets and WLAN access. Students can work in the beautiful historic reading room during opening hours, but preferably on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. when the University Library is closed. If students only want to work and not borrow anything, they do not have to pay a usage fee. If you get thirsty from all the studying, there is a drinks machine. We hope that students will make good use of the study room facilities offered by the city library.
