The Gitlab service of Chemnitz University of Technology can now also be used by all users of the HSZG. This has made cross-university collaboration between researchers and students possible.
What is Git?
Git is a software for distributed version control that can be used for software development. Gitlab enables every user to create Git repositories centrally on Chemnitz University of Technology servers. These repositories can be shared with other users of the service for use and collaboration. The service also includes useful functions for software development such as bug tracking, merge requests and a project wiki.
