PROGRAM DESCRIPTION (excerpt)

Numerous innovative business ideas and patents can be traced back to graduates of technical and engineering programs. With the Leaders in Entrepreneurship Program , the Fulbright Commission offers students of technical and engineering sciences a practice-oriented introduction to the topic of "entrepreneurship" and thus the opportunity to deal with the topic of business start-ups during their studies.

During this three-week program at Louisiana State University (Baton Rouge), students not only gain a direct insight into engineering studiesand everyday life at an American campus university, but also have the opportunity to acquire soft skills such as project and team work, presentation skills and to improve their rhetorical skills in English.
