The aim of the project is to develop new plastic-natural fiber lightweight components in interdisciplinary cooperation and to demonstrate their recyclability. Both technical and economic considerations are carried out for this purpose. The position mainly involves research paper in the project "Fundamental investigations into new types of plastics", in particular collaboration on

• Development of a technology for processing natural fiber-reinforced plastics in lightweight structures,
• Planning, setting up, conducting and evaluating experimental research,
• Investigations in the pilot plant, construction and optimization of a test stand,
• Preparation and communication of project results in the form of reports and presentations,
• Supervision of student assistants in the project

as well as similar tasks in the projects "Microparticle rubber in soils" and "Prognosis on weathering of plastics to microplastics".

The following knowledge and skills are required

• Completed university degree in the field of ecology and environmental protection, process engineering, environmental engineering or a comparable field of study,
• in-depth specialist knowledge in the field of plastics analysis and sorting,
• interdisciplinary skills,
• good written and spoken English skills.

In addition, the following are desirable

• Experience in project work, documentation and presentation as well as
• knowledge of university structures.
